My first original artworks in the store!!

It was so exciting to see my first original prints finally hit the store! We work about a year in advance, so it wasn't until late fall that I could actually see how my prints look as final garments. These two floral prints were a bit of a gamble, because we were trying out a new technique where we layer two prints. For both of these, I painted big brushstrokes which were printed on top of the floral as sort of a transparent layer. You can really see how the opacity lets you see the floral underneath. I'm really happy with the way they turned out!
